We stand behind what we sell. The majority of parts from Mendoza’s Automotive are covered by our 90-day warranty — so you can install with peace of mind.
What’s covered — and what isn’t
Covered
- Most used & new mechanical parts against failure under normal use
- Engines and transmissions (parts only) for the 90-day period
- Electrical components that test good at time of sale
- Replacement or store credit on a verified covered failure
Not covered
- Labor, installation, fluids, towing or consequential damage
- Damage from improper installation, abuse, racing or modification
- Normal wear items and cosmetic condition
- Parts marked “as-is” or sold without warranty (we’ll always tell you)
Some items are sold “as-is” and we’ll always tell you before you buy. Ask us about the warranty on any specific part — we’re happy to explain the coverage.
Making a claim
Keep your receipt
Your receipt is your proof of purchase and warranty start date. Hang on to it for the full 90 days.

We make it right
On a verified covered failure, we’ll replace the part or issue store credit — quickly and fairly.
Warranty FAQ
No — our warranty covers the part itself. Installation, labor, fluids and related costs aren’t included. We recommend a qualified installer for major parts like engines and transmissions.
